Today, we’re sharing a sneak peek at the new Disney Vacation Connection desktop widget –- that’s it…right there with Pluto. When you open the red suitcase on your computer screen you’ll find valuable news, calendars and information about Disney theme parks , Disney Cruise Line , Adventures by Disney and Disney Vacation Club . It’ll be easy to try. Just download the widget to your desktop (free of charge) and you can customize planning for your next vacation, find special events and ticket prices and create a personalized Disney vacation countdown. Here’s a quick walk through showing how it’ll work. Disney Vacation Connection is not quite ready yet but you can sign up to receive notice when it officially launches. With the Disney Parks in full swing and the busy season upon us there has been alot of interesting news out in the blog-o-sphere. Here are a few highlights from the many interesting Disney websites on the interwebs. Starting out as I always do AJ from the wonderful Disney Food Blog shares with us some more details of the new Restaurant “ Remy ” that is aboard the DCL ship the Disney Dream. Here is her article Remy: The Disney Cruise Line’s Most Exclusive Adults-Only Restaurant Speaking of the Disney Food Blog Zannaland had a chance to interview everyone’s favorite foodie AJ. Zanna was able to find out where AJ’s food obsession started, and where the blog idea came from. Great interview! Next up Jerry over at Disney4Dads tells us about his first pin trading experience at the Walt Disney World Resort. Our Disney World Pin Trading Tales even shares with us some of his own personal pins from his monstrous collection. Krisitin from Couponing to Disney featured an article this week from somebody you might recognize. He shared with C2D some money saving tips when visiting Walt Disney World. Also be sure to watch as Kristin’s site is supposed to undergo a new redesign this week..Can’t wait! I had a chance last night to attend the Hyperion 2719 Sweatbox . Jonathan, Anne`, and I met a lot of wonderful and interesting people from the NC Disney Blog Community. We learned some new Disney history, have a ton of laughs, and just got geek it up with other Disney nerds out there. I am not sure where all the UStream Video’s went to I only see one on my You Tube Channel , luckily I was able to shoot some video and I should be able to get it uploaded to the youtube page sometime in the next week or so, so stay tuned. Here are a few articles from some of those NC Disney Bloggers: Jamie from Only WDWorld tells us about one of the newest Disney Vacation Club Resorts called Kidani Village . Come along as he guides us through this brand new facility. The guys over at Progress City USA located some old Disney Promotional videos from 1994 . I love a good classic Disney video! Be sure to check out their podcast too! Brian from Bigbrian-nc.com shares with us the history of Disney in postcards. Check out his site for pictures and articles from some really old and very cool Disney Postcards!
