Who are these figures playfully hiding in the foliage around the site of Aulani ? They might be the Menehune. According to Hawaiian legend, the little Menehune (men-neh-HOO-nay) are shy folk who come out mostly at night. They are said to be gifted, possibly magical, craftspeople and if you come across a work-in-progress bridge or canoe (as you just might, when visiting Aulani), chances are it’s the work of the Menehune.

Did you know that Thanksgiving brunch at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is an annual tradition for many locals? Besides the typical display of turkey and stuffing, the chefs add a little Florida to the menu with chilled seafood like snow crab, poached salmon, peel-and-eat shrimp and mussels. Hi everyone…I had to share this beautiful image overlooking the crescent-shaped lagoon from the 9th floor of Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, Ko Olina, Hawai‘i . I am happy to report that construction for our newest Disney Vacation Club Resort is right on track. We actually reached a construction milestone today, as we ended the vertical construction phase of our 15-story oceanfront resort with a “topping off” ceremony.
