A new feature of the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival is letting guests get “bogged” down during a visit to the park. (And that’s a good thing!). Our friends at Ocean Spray have brought a cranberry bog display to the event as part of their ongoing commitment to educate consumers about the taste, health and heritage of the cranberry. And it’s quite fitting as we enter the fall season when cranberries are a big part of many family holiday dinners

As I walked past the Norway Pavilion at Epcot last week, I spotted two young sisters who had just enjoyed breakfast with the Disney princesses at the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall . The younger of the two sisters was channeling her inner “Belle” from head to almost toe (she smartly opted for sneakers over heels) in a beautiful gold dress, shimmering tiara, locket and pin. The older sister, positively radiant in a green Tinker Bell outfit, seemed to be in a world of her own – a ballerina dancing to a soundtrack only she could hear.

Sunshine Seasons is by far one of the best food courts that Disney has to offer. You will find it in The Land pavilion. This makes for a convenient location if you are spending your afternoon taking a boat ride through Disney’s gardens at Living with the Land, joining Timon and Pumba for a look at the real Circle of Life, and experiencing the sights and sounds of a hand-gliding adventure over California on Soarin’. There are four different areas to choose from when dining at Sunshine Seasons: Sandwiches, Soups and Salads, Asian, and The Grill. Each station has their own unique menu, which does change occasionally but stays within the theme. There is something for every person and every mood to be found here. There are also snacks available here and Disney Dining Plan is acceptable for both snacks and counter service meals.
