This week, we are celebrating “ Dino Week ” in honor of the upcoming release of Disney-Pixar’s “ The Good Dinosaur ” which arrives in theaters on November 25. I recently visited the appropriately themed Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures in Dinoland, U.S.A. at Disney’s Animal Kingdom to survey merchandise being offered at Disney Parks for this film. For the release of this film, we have a small assortment of toys and apparel for kids.

This week was a big one for three young residents of Disney’s Animal Kingdom . Mara, Milo and Lincoln, 3-, 4- and 5-month-old baby giraffes made their way out onto the savanna for the very first time. Will you stop to visit them on at Kilimanjaro Safaris on your next visit? Beginning today, guests can enjoy Starbucks beverages at Creature Comforts at Disney’s Animal Kingdom while supporting conservation efforts for the cotton-top tamarin – a critically endangered species of monkey that resides in South America. The menu will include regular Starbucks coffee and espresso beverages, Frappuccino blended beverages, breakfast sandwiches and pastries, as well as treats crafted by Disney chefs. A portion of the sale of each Starbucks Flat White Latte at the reopened Creature Comforts will benefit conservation programs already underway to help preserve the cotton-top tamarin in Colombia.

Gallery This Week in Disney Parks Photos: Harambe Nights Heats Up Disney’s Animal Kingdom view all Harambe Nights includes “ The Lion King Concert in the Wild,” a retelling of “ The Lion King ” that features a celebrity narrator, live orchestra, choir and more. The evening event also features a welcome reception and the post-show street party that features Afro-pop music, performers, a buffet and more.
