I recently did an exercise where I chose words to describe myself (which proved more challenging than I had anticipated!). That is probably why I found myself drawn to four new shirts arriving this Spring at Disney Parks . The shirts feature outlines of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy that are filled with words that describe their personalities. They were created by the same team that introduced the infamous Turkey Leg shirt (just wait as more great shirts are coming this year… do I smell a Dole Whip or is that a Churro?).

I’m a big fan of the heritage of the Walt Disney Company. In particular, I love when Disney merchandise gives a nod to the past . There is a new Dooney & Bourke collection arriving in October at Disney Parks that draws inspiration from a rather humorous side of Disney – the comic strip. I spoke with Susan Foy , a graphic artist with Disney Design Group and self-proclaimed handbag aficionado, about this new comic-inspired collection.
