Starting today, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider from the upcoming Disney movie, “Tangled,” will greet guests in Fantasyland at Disneyland park. We shared a first look at concept art back in August, but it’s so much better to see the real thing. Beginning October 24, both characters also will appear at Fairytale Garden in the Magic Kingdom in Orlando. You can also see Rapunzel and Flynn Rider on the big screen when “Tangled” debuts in theaters this Thanksgiving.

To go along with the redesign of Fantasyland, Walt Disney World is renaming Cinderella’s Golden Carrousel. As of June 1, this popular ride will now be known as Prince Charming Regal Carrousel.

A quick update to share tonight…our antique carrousel ride in Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom Park – Cinderella’s Golden Carrousel – is officially changing its name to Prince Charming Regal Carrousel. The name change takes effect June 1. The name change helps tell the rest of the Cinderella story that inspired the carrousel.
